The Courageous Project

The Courageous Project is a two-year initiative born from a passion for our church to become a permanent pillar in Southeast Orlando. At its heart, this project is about more than just real estate; it is a spiritual journey to establish a lasting culture of Kingdom generosity within City Place. At the start of 2026, we declared a shift in our spirit: we are moving from Cautious to Courageous. We believe the Lord is calling us to: "Impact the One"—a dedicated commitment to reaching 1% of our local community with the transformative love of Chris and acquire a permanent home that allows us to transition from a weekend gathering to a constant, life-giving presence in the neighborhoods we serve.

Joshua 1:9 says “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” This promise fuels our goal to establish a seven-day-a-week facility that serves as both a spiritual sanctuary for our church family and a welcoming hub for our neighbors. A permanent property will empower City Place to expand its reach, offering a consistent space for worship, discipleship, and community engagement every single day. This initiative is an invitation for all of us to build a legacy that transcends walls, stewarding our kingdom resources to create a space where dreams come alive, purpose is discovers, and belonging are found for generations to come.
